Super Rugby final confirmed

Into the cowbell couldron ...

Just 4 points separated the 4 semi finalists … But after 124 games, just 80 minutes stands between the Chiefs or the Brumbies being crowned 2013 Super Rugby Champions.

The Chiefs earned the right to host next Saturday’s Final after finishing on top of the log and subsequently defeating the Crusaders 20-19 in a breathtaking Semi-Final.

The defending champions will welcome the Brumbies to Hamilton after the Canberra-based franchise engineered a stunning last gasp 26-23 triumph over the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.

The Chiefs are in search of back-to-back titles after claiming their maiden crown last season while the Brumbies will be seeking their third championship after winning the Super 12 competition in 2001 and 2004.

  1. I am backing the Brumbies purely on the basis that I reckon they have the best coach in world rugby at the moment and I think they really played hard and well to get into the position they are in.

Jake and his boys deserve it!
