Right, time to confess … I had the Blues to beat the Chiefs by 12, but somehow clicked on the Chiefs when entering my scores on SuperBru! They say you need a little luck in this prediction game … Well, I might have used mine all up with that little gem …
It set me up for a solid 5 from 7 weekend which was not enough to get me onto the first page of the Front Row Grunt leaderboard, but at least eased me up from that bottom rung which last week’s 2 from 7 had me on …

It’s a fantastic day organised by Brad Bing of Sporting Chance … Which sees 10 teams made up of various local media personalities taking to the lawn to smash a few sixes and burgle the odd wicket in the name of fun and a great charity …
There will be not one quick single from the Grunters, who’s Canterbury shirts have so many x’s in the labels that a local porn site asked if they could sponsor us, but perhaps the odd boundary, and certainly the odd swiftly taken ice cold beverage in the clubhouse …
Come on down if you don’t have cousin Mary’s 87th birthday high tea on the agenda …
