Weekend teams and predictions

A seven game weekend, and this time spread over only two days! Take in the teams, times, odds, Superbru community picks along with Tank and David Campese’s predictions.

Tank Lanning

Saturday is industrial, kicking off at 05h30 in the morning and ending at 21h00 at night. Basically fifteen and half hours of almost solid rugby. Good luck getting the pink tickets needed to watch all five games!

So it’s that dreaded “Root canal” on Friday to catch the Lions, then it’s a koffie en beskuit kickoff for the Cheetahs on Saturday morning, followed by the Stormers on a spin bike at your local gym. Tahs vs Blues is your bonus point game before settling in for the Sharks and Bulls with your feet on the coolerbox and an entire sheep on the coals. Enjoy!

This week’s guest predictor is former Aussie wing, and fellow SuperBru legends pool mate, David Campese. He has had a dreadful tournament thus far, but did manage the yellow cap with 6 from 6 last weekend, so perhaps that streak will continue …

  1. Some not so predictable outcomes this weekend, like the Blues who you feel is due for a win at somebody else expense when least expected.
