Grab a cup of coffee and catch up on the weekend’s Super Rugby, Vodacom Cup, Community Cup, Six Nations and other results, scorers and logs.
And after a scintillating set of results last weekend, it’s back to earth with a bump with the Cheetahs being the sole SA side to pull off a win this weekend. OF more concern, perhaps, was the way the Bulls and Sharks were completely dismantled by the Crusaders and Brumbies …
In Cardiff Wales pulled off one of the more remarkable victories in their illustrious history, giving England a 30-3 lesson in how to play direct rugby off a dominant scrum and lineout to take the 2013 Six Nations trophy.
Locally, WP went down to the Sharks at City Park to remain winless in the Vodacom Cup, the Lions went down to the Valke, and all the Community Cup quarter finalists were decided in the last round of pool matches.
To the weekend, then …

Crusaders v Bulls @ 24:16 The Franks child…. hmmm….
The Brumbies gave an excellent display of basic rugby – all the JW traits were eveident – strong scrum, retain possession, excellent handling and done at pace. I say it every week he wears the No10 – I trust that Saturday will have shown that Lambie is not a 10 – he is an excellent 15, always has been and probably always will be. Any Sharks success is despite Plumtree not because of. He might have aspirations to coach the Springboks but goodness he is a long way off the mark.
100% re Jake. The man can coach … Jury now out on Lambie at 10
