Truly amazing scenes in PE as the Kings defied the odds to not only win their first Super Rugby game, but end the game pushing for a bonus point try!
Here at the Grunt, we are gobsmacked, but certainly rose a glass to the achievement, and hope for many more!
So we end the weekend With Morne Steyn and Pat Lambie having put the pretenders to their throne, Elton Jantjies and Johan Goosen, in their boxes – for now … And Demitri Catrakilis a more than interested spectator. The race for the Bok flyhalf jersey is going to be a hot one!
A shaky 4 correct predictions out of 7 for me – I did not call the Blues, Reds or Kings, and that leaves me positioned at 1006 out of the 1400 people playing in the Grunt SuperBru pool … Not really in contention for the stainless steal Coleman coolerboxes and 10 cases of Red Bull!!
Unlike Bloubloed and Bandit, who top the pool at the moment on 11.5 points. Congrats to Riaan Ferreira for taking the yellow cap this week, calling all 7 games correctly!
