WIN VIP tickets to the CT Tens

Mere days to the legendary Nokia Cape Town Tens weekend. On offer here on the Grunt are 2 VIP tickets, and 6 general tickets to what is without doubt SA’s biggest rugby party.

The Cape Town Tens, now with new headline sponsor Nokia at the helm, is the world’s biggest Tens tournament, and kicks off at Hamilton’s Rugby Club on the 7th of February. With 100 social rugby teams playing up to 800 games over the weekend, as well as the addition of 40 netball teams, this is set to be SA’s biggest social sports event of the year!

And you could be doing it VIP style with your bestie, or in the beer tent with 5 mates! Up for grabs are 2 VIP tickets, and 6 general entry tickets.

Prize does not include accommodation or travel I am afraid, so you need to be able to get to Cape Town yourself. Prize winners will be draw on Monday the 27th of Jan.

This year the tournament will be celebrating its 6th anniversary and as such, there will be more on offer for the whole family including a revamped kiddies play area with child minders, jumping castles, and magicians as well as specific rugby, netball and cricket clinics tailored for the kids. In addition to this there will be plenty more food options with the new 450m² Food Lovers’ Market tent, a massive beer tent and live entertainment throughout the day by Tens favourites Me & Mr Brown and DJ Sox who will be keeping energies high throughout the weekend.

Also get the chance to rub shoulders with various rugby legends such as John Smit, Butch James, Percy Montgomery, Carlos Spencer, Justin Marshall and of course Tens founders Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck.

  5. OLA ICE! The vets team to watch!

    Come watch the OLA ice cream sellers beat up the WP Barbarians (1pm on Friday) and (eventually) the SA Legends on the field of rugga-war. Anybody who saw them play last year knows that they are in for a treat. Bring it on CT TENS!

The whole weekend is def the hilight of the year, but my fav part is on the sat night once everyone has finished playing and the whole event comes together for one massive massive closing party that has been the better of me on more than one occasion. so let me have another chance at trying to beat it
